Getting Started

If you have dumps of cartridge data from either Game Gear or Master System games (called ROMs by the emulation community), BlameGear can play them. For instructions and controls, consult the included readme.txt.

I do not condone downloading ROMs illegally, and I will not help you acquire games you don't own, mostly because I don't want to go to jail. However, there are excellent homebrew devices for dumping cartridges you own: for example, the wonderful SMSReader allows you to dump Sega Master System cartridges to a file on your computer.

On the other hand, if you do have cartridges you would like to see emulated on BlameGear, feel free to contact me via the link on the left sidebar. Dropping me an email is a good way to report ROM compatibility for games that aren't in my list.
